NVC came to me unobtrusively. I ‘stumbled’ upon it in 2009, little imagining what a life-changing event that would be. Within a day of my first training and my encounter with the concept of Needs, I was hooked. Now, more than a decade later, I am excited to be part of a worldwide community, which holds the vision that every life matters, every voice must be heard, and that beyond our opinions and diversities, we can access our shared humanity and compassion. I see the potential of NVC, today more than ever, of helping us focus on what binds us rather than what scatters and separates us.
